I love the city in all its angles and diversity. I worked at a major NYC newspaper while going to the academy. I was forced to draw quickly there to meet deadlines. This gave me the pace I use when I make art. I think first impressions are sometimes the best. The down and dirty of getting it out there, or down on paper, wihout too much overthinking.
