The power that the human figure has to emote powerful forms of expression continues to drive my artistic journey. Drawing and oil painting are both vital ways that I learn about myself and others. Mastery is a lifetime pursuit that can be both fascinating and humbling while at the same timelife affirming.

Justin was born in Baltimore where he later attended The Schuler School of Fine Art. He has exhibited extensively over the years and has had five one-person shows. Connecticut is home where he lives with his wife and two children while teaching at the Silvermine School of Art.
