ARTIST STATEMENT

As a painter, my work is deeply inspired by the intricate worlds of biology, anatomy, and the microcosm. These themes serve as a foundation for exploring the hidden beauty and complexity of life, often overlooked in our everyday experience. Art, for me, is not just a practice but a way of viewing and interpreting the world—it's an intrinsic part of my DNA. My recent works involve a dynamic combination of acrylic and oil mediums, creating a vibrant interplay of textures and depths. I am particularly drawn to the use of fluorescent colors, which infuse my pieces with an otherworldly glow, evoking a sense of wonder and curiosity. This blend of techniques allows me to highlight the delicate details and vivid colors found in the natural world, bridging the gap between the seen and the unseen. Through my art, I strive to evoke feelings of beauty, good energy, hope, and inspiration. I believe that in observing the minutiae of life, viewers can find profound connections and reflections of their own existence. My paintings aim to provide a space where people can pause, reflect, and appreciate the intricate and often hidden wonders around them. Over time, my artistic journey has evolved, continually shaped by new discoveries and experiences. While my influences are broad and varied, they have all contributed to a unique visual language that speaks to the interconnectedness of life and the inherent beauty of the natural world.
